The Hammerhead Karoo 2 is a GPS bike computer with a touch display and intelligent navigation with re-routing. The Hammerhead does many things better than the competition and became known in a very short time through enthusiastic reviews on social media.

The Karoo 2 is significantly smaller and lighter than its predecessor. With its quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, it has become noticeably faster.

Outstanding display with Dragontrail glass

The Karoo 2 has the widest color gamut and twice the pixel density (292 PPI) of its competitors.

The display's Dragontrail™ glass is matte and especially scratch-resistant. It has a resistant, glare-free surface that ensures the screen's visibility in all light conditions.

With its 3.2" display and 480 x 800 pixel resolution, the Karoo 2 offers a crisp display for perfect readability.

The Karoo 2 can be controlled via touchscreen or via its four buttons. The responsive smartphone-quality touchscreen filters out incorrect inputs from rain and mud. A double tap locks the screen when needed.

Intelligent navigation with re-routing

The Karoo 2 features full-color, global maps with all the details you need while cycling, including POIs and elevation information.

Routing is based on your preferences - there are options for road, gravel and mountain biking.

The quality of the navigation feature has been widely praised: turn-by-turn navigation for each route, with audible cues and visual indicators so you never miss a turn.

You can transfer planned routes to the Karoo 2 or create the routes directly in the Karoo 2. If you ever need or want to leave the route, the route is recalculated within a few seconds (re-routing).

View elevation profiles for your route so you know what climbs lie ahead. And with the Karoo 2's homecoming option, you'll always get back home.

Wide connectivity via Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS & ANT+ sensors

In addition to the usual connectivity options (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ANT+, and USB cable), the Karoo also offers the ability to use a SIM card (not included) to get online on the go. By using the Android operating system, future enhancements and the use of Android apps are possible.

The Karoo 2 can be paired with all popular ANT+ and Bluetooth sensors (cadence, speed, heart rate, power meter, smart trainer) and also supports Shimano Di2, SRAM eTap and Campagnolo EPS.

Battery and charging

With a capacity of 2500 mAh, the battery provides about 12 hours of riding time. Fast charging takes the Karoo 2 from 0% to 30% in 30 minutes and fully charges in less than 3 hours. The waterproof USB-C port is state of the art.

Hammerhead handlebar mount

The patent-pending Hammerhead mounting system is a bracket for 31.8mm diameter handlebars that is reliable, easy to use, stylish and aerodynamic. It provides a much larger contact area between the Karoo 2 and the mount, making it more stable than a quarter-turn design.

With the included Karoo quarter-turn adapter, you can attach the Karoo 2 to any Garmin-compatible mount.
