It measures on the left crank arm and suits gravel riders who want clean power data without moving to a more expensive or more complex system. The setup stays light, easy to use and practical for daily riding. On long rides, in training and on mixed terrain, this is often the most sensible option.

Who this model suits

This model suits riders who use their gravel bike for training, touring, bikepacking or fast all-road rides. If you want to hit training zones, pace climbs better or review workload after the ride, a left-side power meter is often enough in practice. You get clear power data without adding unnecessary complexity or maintenance.

Why the battery version makes sense

The battery version works well if you ride regularly but do not want fixed charging cycles. You can replace a CR2032 quickly on your own. That is often more practical on trips, long rides or on the road than dealing with a depleted battery. If you want to stay independent, the battery version is often the more robust everyday choice.

Compatibility and installation

Single-sided measurement in practice

The power meter measures only the left leg and doubles the value for total power. In practice this is enough for training, pacing and load control. Only riders with a clear left-right imbalance may benefit more from a dual-sided system. For most gravel riders, that difference is not decisive in daily use.

The power meter sends power and cadence via ANT+ and Bluetooth LE. That makes it compatible with many bike computers, training apps and indoor platforms. Automatic temperature compensation keeps readings stable in changing conditions. Like with any power meter, you should do a zero-offset calibration before the ride.
