Inpeak Power Meter Shimano 105 FC-R7100 Powercrank-E

The Inpeak Rechargeable Powercrank-E Shimano 105 FC-R7100 is a single-sided power meter with an integrated rechargeable battery for modern Shimano 105 road bikes and other compatible Hollowtech II road cranks. It suits riders who use the bike regularly and already follow fixed charging cycles. You get simple power measurement on the left crank arm without changing batteries. For structured training, this is often the more convenient solution.

Who the rechargeable version suits

This model suits riders who train several times per week and want to keep the setup simple. You do not need to replace coin cells and can build the power meter into your normal charging routine. If you already charge a head unit or Di2 components, this version fits well into daily use.

Rechargeable or battery

The battery version fits irregular use, long travel and bikes that are not in constant use better. The rechargeable version fits a clear training rhythm better. Technically both variants are close. The real difference is how they feel in daily use.

Compatibility and installation

The power meter fits Shimano Hollowtech II road cranks, including 105, Ultegra and Dura-Ace. The housing sits on the inside of the left crank arm. Single-sided measurement in practice

The power meter measures only the left leg and doubles the value for total power. For FTP tests, intervals, pacing and training control, this is fully enough for most riders. If you want exact balance data, you need a different system. For many road riders, that adds little real value in daily use.

Connectivity and daily use

The power meter sends power and cadence via ANT+ and Bluetooth LE. The battery charges via USB. Automatic temperature compensation helps keep readings stable in changing conditions. You install firmware updates wirelessly through the Inpeak app.
