Favero Assioma UNO Power Meter Pedals

The Favero Assioma UNO is a single-sided power meter pedal for road cyclists and triathletes who want to train with power but do not need a dual-sided system. Power is measured exclusively in the left pedal, while the right pedal has no sensor. Riders who later want true left-right data can move up to the Assioma DUO with dual-sided measurement.

The pedal system is based on Look KEO and is therefore aimed at riders who want a classic road setup with easy installation and proven everyday usability. If you want to move directly to the newer PRO platform with spindle-based measurement, the Assioma PRO RL-1 is the more suitable alternative.

Who is the Assioma UNO for?

The Assioma UNO is built for riders who mainly care about training zones, load control, and comparability between rides. For that purpose, a left-side pedal is often the economically sensible solution. Riders with pronounced side imbalances or a stronger focus on pedalling analysis should choose a dual-sided system instead.

How the measurement works in real use

The left pedal measures power and the value is then doubled. As long as the rider's left-right contribution stays reasonably stable, this works very well for many training scenarios. It becomes less precise when left-right balance changes significantly, for example under fatigue, after injury, or during very high-intensity efforts.

Compatible bikes and cleats

The Assioma UNO is best suited to road bikes, triathlon bikes, and other road-oriented bikes with standard pedal threads. The pedal system is based on Look KEO, so shoes with a 3-bolt pattern are required. For hard off-road use, an SPD-based system is the more logical choice.

Battery, installation, and everyday usability

The integrated lithium-ion battery offers around 50 hours of runtime. Charging is done directly on the mounted pedal via a magnetic connector. Installation works like a normal pedal with an 8 mm hex key, which makes the UNO easy to move between bikes.

Construction and durability

The flattened sensor housing reduces the risk of shoe contact compared with older designs. At the same time, the system is built to resist water and dust. Another practical advantage is the modular construction: bearings and pedal bodies are available as spare parts, which helps extend service life.

Data transmission and setup

Data is transmitted via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. This allows pairing with many bike computers, smartphones, and training apps. Setup, registration, and firmware updates are handled through the Favero Assioma app.
